Vinakaya General Store

Vinakaya General Store is located at 3-5/96 on Rvm Street in Kuppam. It is a typical street-side shop where we sell just about everything you might need in a hurry. From pens and notebooks to batteries and snacks, we try to stock a bit of everything. Rvm Street is usually quite busy with people walking through. Our shop number is 3-5/96, and it’s a small place but we use every inch of the walls to hang things. We open up the shop early in the morning before the school kids start passing by. It’s a lot of work to keep track of all the tiny items we sell. We don't have any assistants, so it is usually just us behind the counter. The space is a bit cramped, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for. But we know our stock pretty well. Kuppam is a nice place to live and work. We have been on this street for a while and have seen many shops come and go. We just keep doing our thing. There are no big displays or fancy posters. Just the goods on the shelves and us ready to help. It’s a simple business and it keeps us busy. We like the interaction with the neighbors and the feeling of being part of the street. It is just a regular life running a general store and we take it as it comes.
