Tractor India Limited

This branch of Tractor India Limited is over at 7-9-54 on Vijayalakshmi Road in Kuppam. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. It’s a busy part of Kuppam, especially on market days. We have a lot of heavy parts lying around the shop floor. It’s not the cleanest place, but that’s because we are always moving iron and steel. Farmers from all around the area come to see us when their machines break down. We try to keep the common stuff in stock so they don't have to wait. Vijayalakshmi Road is a good location because it’s easy for the big trailers to get to us. The building itself is plain, just some walls and a roof to keep the rain off the equipment. We have a small desk in the corner where we do the billing. It’s mostly just hard work and getting our hands greasy. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone does a bit of everything, from unloading trucks to talking to customers. It’s a practical business. The floor is concrete and always has some oil spots on it. We don't try to hide the fact that this is a working shop. Vijayalakshmi Road is a noisy place, but we don't notice the sounds anymore. We just keep our heads down and work on the orders as they come in. It’s a simple way to spend the day.
