Pes Narayana Heart Centre

We are located right inside the Pes Medical College & Research Hospital. It is a big place and can be a bit confusing if you aren’t used to the layout here. Most of us have been working at Pes Narayana Heart Centre for a while now. The days usually start pretty early with the sounds of carts and people walking through the hallways. We spend most of our time dealing with the heart patients who come in from all over. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the main hospital gets crowded. We keep things pretty simple in our corner. There’s a lot of paperwork and talking to families who are usually quite worried. We just try to get through the shift and make sure things are handled okay. Sometimes the machines act up or the lights flicker, but that’s just how it is in a big old building like this one. We don’t have fancy stuff, just what is needed for the heart work. You’ll see us mostly in scrubs, drinking tea during the short breaks we get. It’s not a glamorous job, but we’re here every day. The medical college students are often around too, learning and asking questions while we try to do our regular tasks. Being part of the larger research hospital means there is always something going on, whether it is a delivery or someone looking for a different department entirely. We just point them the right way. We have been here for years.
