Our office is listed under the name Governament, and we are situated in Yanadhi Palli. This is part of the Krishnadasana Palli Post Office area in Kuppam. It’s a rural setting, so things move at a much slower pace than they do in the big cities. Most people around here know us by face rather than by the name on the door. We spend our days dealing with the local community, helping out with various needs that come up in this part of Kuppam. The building itself is quite simple and matches the rest of the village. We don't have fancy computers or high-speed internet that works all the time, so we do a lot of things by hand in big ledger books. The post office is nearby, which is handy because we are constantly sending and receiving letters. You’ll often find a few of us sitting outside if it’s too hot inside, just waiting for the next person to come by. It’s a very personal way of working. We know the families around here and their stories. Sometimes we don't have much to do for a few hours, and then suddenly everyone arrives at once. We just handle it as it comes.
