G R Puffed Rice Company

Working at G R Puffed Rice Company in Ram Nagar is a loud and hot job. We are located at 65, and you can usually smell the rice being processed from a few houses away. K V Kuppam is a quiet place otherwise, but our machines keep a steady rhythm going. We take the raw rice and do the whole process right here on the floor. There is always a layer of white dust over everything, no matter how much we sweep. It gets into your clothes and hair by the end of the shift.
