Live Furniture

We started Live Furniture a while back right here in Kuniyamuthur. It is located at Gsk Complex near the Edyarpalayam Pirivu. Mostly it is just us working here every day, moving tables and chairs around the floor. People come in looking for something to sit on or a place to put their TV. We have got some wooden stuff and some metal things too. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when a new shipment arrives from the truck. We try to keep things organized but sometimes there is sawdust on the floor or a bit of bubble wrap lying around. It is just a regular shop. We spend a lot of time just showing people the different types of wood or how the drawers slide. Most of our neighbors know us by now. The sun hits the front window pretty hard in the afternoons so it gets warm. We usually just have the fan going and keep the door open so people can walk in. It is not fancy here. If you are driving down the main road near the pirivu, you will see our sign. We handle the deliveries ourselves usually, piling things into the small van we use. It keeps us busy. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, other days everyone wants a new bed at the same time. That is just how it goes for us at the shop. We like the area and the people who stop by to chat.
