We are out on Piao Maniyari Road in the Kundli area, which is right on the border of Delhi and Sonipat. Our factory is near the Kuber factory, so that’s usually how people find us in this sprawling industrial zone. It’s a dusty part of the world, with big trucks constantly moving on the main road. Inside our gates, we deal with polymers and plastic manufacturing. The machines are loud and they run for most of the day. It’s a big, open shed-like structure with high ceilings to let the heat out during the summer months. We spend our time monitoring the production lines and making sure the raw materials are fed in correctly. It’s not a clean job; you usually go home with a bit of dust on your clothes. The team here is mostly made up of guys from the local villages and some who commute from the city. We have a small office area tucked in the corner where the paperwork gets handled, but most of the action is on the factory floor. There’s a water cooler near the entrance that everyone huddles around during the breaks. Being out in Kundli means we have plenty of space, but it also means we’re a bit far from the city comforts. We don't mind it, though. We’ve got a good routine going and the work keeps us busy from dawn till dusk every single day.
