V2 Mart

The road from the railway station to Ganore Gopalbari is always busy with people walking back and forth. V2 Mart sits right along that path. We get a lot of foot traffic from people getting off the trains. The shop is a bit of a mix of everything. We spend a lot of time stocking the shelves with stuff people might need on their way home. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes when a big group comes in all at once. We don't have a lot of space, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. The floor is a bit worn down from all the walking. We have a little radio that plays in the background but you can barely hear it over the sound of the trains. Most of the day is spent just checking the stock and talking to the regulars. We don't have any big corporate rules here. We just try to be helpful and keep the place decent. Some days are slow and we just sit by the door and watch the world go by. It’s a simple business. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a local mart serving the people who pass through this part of Gopalbari every single day. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery. It’s a bit cramped in here when it’s raining.
