Kc Hindu High School

Kc Hindu High School is right on G T Road in Gannaur, Sonepat. Since we are on the main road, it is always a bit loud with the trucks and buses passing by outside. The school has been part of the Gannaur community for a long time. The building is an older style, with thick walls and high ceilings that help a bit when it gets hot in the Haryana summer. We have a large gate that stays shut during school hours to keep the noise and the traffic out. Inside, the students are mostly focused on their board exams and their daily homework. Our teachers are often seen carrying stacks of notebooks across the courtyard. It is a busy place, especially during the lunch break when everyone is out in the open areas. We have a playground that is used for physical education and some morning drills. The atmosphere is very traditional. We don’t go for anything modern or flashy; it is just about the books and the classroom learning. The office staff is usually busy handling the various government requirements and keeping track of attendance. It is a straightforward school where the goal is just to get the students through their high school years so they can move on to whatever comes next. We focus on the daily schedule and the regular classes that have been taught here for decades.
