Anand Button Ltd. is situated out on Piau Maniyari along Narela Road in Sonepat. It’s a straightforward industrial spot where we spend our days making buttons. Being on Narela Road means there are always a lot of trucks passing by, which is good for moving our goods out. The facility itself is just a big functional building. We have machines that run most of the day, so there’s a constant clicking sound in the background. It’s not a quiet place, but that’s the nature of manufacturing. Sonepat is a good location for us because it’s easy to get materials delivered. Inside, we have bins and bins full of different kinds of buttons in every color you can think of. Sometimes the floor gets a little slippery with the plastic dust, but we try to sweep it up regularly. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the production line and making sure the counts are right before things get boxed up. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we’re used to it. The team is mostly local people from around Piau Maniyari. We take our breaks together and just try to get the day's quota finished. It’s a very practical business. We don't make a big fuss about things, we just keep the machines going and do the job right.
