Out here in Kundaragi, at 24/5/65, you will find Rashmi Oil Seeds. We have been working with seeds for a long time, and it’s the kind of business that follows the seasons more than anything else. There is a lot of dust and a lot of heavy lifting involved in what we do. It isn't a clean office job by any means. We spend our days checking the quality of the seeds coming in and making sure they are stored right so they don't spoil. The weather is always on our minds because it changes everything for the farmers we work with. Kundaragi is a quiet place compared to the big cities, but it gets busy during the harvest. We know most of the people who come through here by name. There’s no need for fancy titles or complicated systems. We just use what works and try to keep our word. Sometimes the trucks are late because of the roads, and we just have to wait it out. That is part of the life here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the country, we just want to do right by the local trade. The building isn't much to look at, just a sturdy place to keep the goods dry and safe. We’ve been at this a while now, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset in the warehouse.
