Sri Devi Nuring Home

Sri Devi Nursing Home is located over on AKG Road in Vaderhobli. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the area has changed a lot since we first opened the doors. It used to be much quieter, but now there are more houses and shops all along the street. The building itself is straightforward, nothing too flashy about it. We have a few rooms and the staff mostly comes from the surrounding neighborhoods. Everyone knows each other here. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. It’s part of the routine. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day. Some people come in just to ask a quick question or get a check. We don’t have a big marketing team or any fancy slogans. Most of our neighbors just walk over when they need something. The floors are clean enough, and we try to keep the fans running when it gets hot. My sister used to work the front desk, but now it’s a young man from down the road who is very polite. It’s a local spot where people feel okay stopping by for a bit. We don’t use big words or try to act like we’re a huge city hospital. We’re just here on AKG Road doing what we can. It’s a busy life, but it’s good to be part of the community here in Vaderhobli. We like the quiet evenings.
