Blue Waters Karnataka

Blue Waters Karnataka is situated right by the Fort Gate in Kundapura. It’s near the old Inspection Bungalow, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. The place has a bit of a quiet feel to it because we’re tucked away in the Holiday Homes area. We spend a lot of our time just looking after the grounds and making sure the rooms at Fort Gate are ready for whoever is showing up. There’s always a bit of yard work to do, like sweeping up leaves or checking the gates. The air here feels a bit different than the city, which is nice, but it also means things like hinges and locks need a lot of oiling because of the moisture. We don’t have a big reception desk with a computer; it’s more about meeting people at the gate and showing them where things are. The furniture is sturdy and simple, nothing too modern or flashy. In the evenings, it gets quite still around Kundapura, and you can hear the birds more than the traffic. We just keep the place tidy and wait for the next guests to roll in. It’s a lot of laundry, cleaning windows, and making sure the water is running right. It’s just the daily life of keeping a holiday home going near the Fort Gate, nothing more and nothing less.
