Al Aqsa Hollow Block Industries

The yard at Al Aqsa Hollow Block Industries stays busy most days, especially when the weather is clear for drying. We are located right at 28/711 on General Merchants Main Road, which gets quite a bit of traffic throughout the morning. The work here is mostly about mixing and setting the blocks correctly so they stay solid. It’s not a fancy setup, just a place where we get the job done. Koteshwara Street has been our home for a while now. You can usually find a few of us out back checking on the latest batch or loading up a truck that’s stopped by. The machines make a lot of noise, but that’s just how it is when you’re making bricks. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Most of the business happens right there on the shop floor or over the side of a parked lorry. Some days are slower when it rains because the blocks won't dry right, but we still show up to clean the equipment and get things ready for the next sun. It is hard work, and our hands are always dusty by the end of the shift. People from around the neighborhood know where we are. We just keep our heads down and keep the production moving along. There’s no big secret to what we do, just using the right mix and making sure the sizes are consistent for whoever needs them for their building.
