Kadaprayil

We are based in the Kadaprayil Building in Kumily village. It’s right near the private bus stand in the Rosapukanbam area of Eduki. Being so close to the bus stand means there is always someone passing by. It’s a good spot for a store. We sell various supplies that people in the village need. It’s a family-run thing. We’ve been in this building for as long as I can remember. The air up here in Eduki is nice, though it gets quite rainy during the monsoon. We spend a lot of time keeping the damp out of the stock. It’s a simple setup. Wooden shelves, a counter, and a lot of familiar faces coming through the door. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays. We just put the items where people can see them. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench when it’s quiet and watch the buses come and go. It’s a steady pace of life. We know most of our customers by name. It’s not just about the business, it’s about being part of Kumily. We don't have any big plans to expand or move. This building is where we belong. We just keep the shelves stocked and help whoever walks in. It’s basic, honest work. The lights inside are a bit dim, but we know where everything is. People stop by for a chat even when they don't need to buy anything. That's just how it is.
