Sembiyavarambal

Our place is right on the main road that goes from Thirunageswaram toward Nachiyar Kovil. If you are driving through Kumbakonam, you probably passed us a few times without thinking much of it. We are just a local setup here. Sembiyavarambal is where we spend most of our hours, handling whatever needs doing for the day. It gets quite dusty with the buses and cars going past, but we keep the doors open mostly. People from the nearby villages come through often. We don't have a big corporate team or anything. It is just a few of us making sure things run like they should. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait it out, or we use the torch. That’s just life here. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now. Most of the regulars know us by name. We don’t bother with fancy decorations or big posters. We just have what we need to get the work finished. If you're heading down the main road, you'll see our spot. It’s a simple building. Nothing special to look at, but we are here every day. We handle the daily tasks and try to keep things organized. It’s a bit of a walk from the main town center, but it suits us just fine. We like the pace of this road and the people we meet every day while we are working.
