M.Arunachalam&Co has another location over in Kumbakonam, specifically at 50, Venkatesa Nagar. We are on the 2nd Cross in the Chettimandapam area. Kumbakonam is a famous town in the Tanjore District, known for its temples and history, but for us, it’s just where we go to work every morning. The office is in a residential-feeling neighborhood, which is nice because it’s not as chaotic as the main market area. We have a simple office set up in Venkatesa Nagar where we keep our records and handle our day-to-day operations. It’s a plain building with no big signs or bright lights. We don't see the point in all that marketing stuff. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get through them. The local people in Chettimandapam are friendly, and we often see the same faces every day when we go out for tea. Our work keeps us busy, and we spend a lot of time talking to people from all over the Tanjore District. It’s a practical way of doing things. We don't have a corporate handbook or a list of fancy values. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Sometimes the rains in this part of Tamil Nadu can make the streets a bit messy, but we just deal with it like everyone else does. It’s a quiet life in a busy town, and our office on the 2nd Cross is exactly where we need to be.
