Down near Mahamaha Kulam in Kumbakonam, it gets quite lively. Our clinic is at 197/1 Gandhi Adigal Salai. If you know the area, you know how much history is around here. We aren't a fancy new setup; we’re just a clinic in an old part of town. The street outside is usually full of people and cycles, especially during festival times when everyone visits the tanks. We don't have a big team of people to run things, just a few of us making sure everything stays in order. The building has high ceilings and stays relatively cool, but we still keep the fans going. We don’t put out any brochures with big promises. Most of what we do is just routine work, seeing people from the local streets. Sometimes we sit outside for a minute when it’s quiet just to watch the world go by on Gandhi Adigal Salai. The records are all kept in big folders, and we know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. It’s a local spot, and we like it that way. We don't try to be something we're not. We just provide a place for people to come when they need to see a doctor in this part of Kumbakonam. It’s been our daily life for a long time. We just keep the doors open and do what we can for the people who walk in.
