We are located at 43 Kumbakonam Karaikal Road in the Thirunageswaram area. Govardhan Giri Property Investments & Consultants is basically just a small office where we handle things related to local land and houses. It’s right on the main road, so there’s always cars and buses going past the door. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and property documents for people who want to buy a bit of land or maybe invest some money in a plot nearby. It is a quiet town for the most part, but the real estate stuff keeps us on our feet. We don’t use any high-tech systems here. We just have our registers and some old files that we keep updated. When someone comes in, we sit down and talk about what they need. Sometimes we have to drive out to see a site, which can take half the day if the traffic is bad on the road to Karaikal. We help with the consulting side too, mostly just giving our honest thoughts on what a piece of ground is worth based on what we’ve seen lately. It isn’t a flashy business. We just try to be useful to the people who live around here or those moving into the district. The office is simple and we usually leave the door open to get a bit of a breeze. People know us as the place on the corner of the road.
