Liton Das & Co.

Down here in Kumargram, things move at their own pace. We’ve been running Liton Das & Co. for a good bit now, right near the main part of the village. It’s a small operation, mostly just me and a couple of helpers managing the daily stuff that comes in. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. The shop is usually open early in the morning because that's when people are out and about before the sun gets too high. We deal with various things depending on what the locals need at the time. Sometimes the shipments from town get delayed because the roads aren't great after a storm, so we just have to wait it out. My desk is usually a mess of papers and receipts because filing isn't exactly my favorite thing to do. We spend a lot of time just talking to the folks who drop by, catching up on news while we work. The building itself is nothing special, just a sturdy place to keep our stock dry and safe. It gets pretty quiet in the afternoons when everyone is resting, then picks up again toward evening. We just focus on keeping the shelves filled and making sure we don't run out of the basics. It’s just a regular local business trying to stay busy and helpful to the people living around Kumargram without any big fuss.
