Yak Tour & Travels

We have our little spot for Yak Tour & Travels right on The Mall in Manali. It’s 175131 if you’re looking at the zip code. The Mall is always packed with people, especially in the summer. We’ve been here for years, just seeing the crowds come and go. It’s a small shop, squeezed in between some others. We don't really do the whole professional corporate act. It’s just us and our cars. We spend the day talking to tourists who want to see the snow or go up to the pass. It gets loud out on the street, but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in town. We just want to get people where they need to go. Manali is a beautiful place to work, even if it gets a bit much sometimes. We keep our paperwork in piles and our keys on the wall. It’s a real business, not a polished one. If you’re walking down The Mall, you’ll find us easily. We are usually out front talking to someone or cleaning one of the cars. It’s a simple way to spend the day in the mountains. We don't have a big team of agents, just a few drivers and a small desk where we take bookings. It can be a bit chaotic when the peak season hits, but we manage to get everyone sorted eventually. We just take one day at a time here.
