Summer Camp Student Camp

Our summer camp is located in Solang Village, which is part of the Manali area in Kullu district. It’s a rugged spot, way up in the hills. We focus on providing a place for students to come and experience the outdoors. We aren't a big travel agency; we are just people who live in Solang and know the area well. The camp is pretty basic. We have tents and a common area for meals. We don't have any fancy facilities or polished brochures. People find out about us because they want their kids to see the real mountains. We spend our time making sure the campsites are clean and the groups are safe when they go for walks. The weather in Kullu can be very unpredictable, so we are always checking the skies. Our staff are local folks from the village who know the trails and the best spots. It’s hard work, especially during the peak season when there are lots of students. We have to carry supplies up and keep everything running smoothly without much modern equipment. It’s a simple way of living and we like it that way. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just set up the camp and help the students explore the nature around Solang. It’s a practical business that relies on our knowledge of the local land and a lot of manual labor. We even handle the cooking and the wood-gathering ourselves when things get busy.
