Sahsi Group ( Star Adventure Himalyan Sports Institute)

Up here in Manali, you can find Sahsi Group, though some people call us the Star Adventure Himalyan Sports Institute. Our main base camp is located in Village Kothi. We are pretty close to the Pwd Rest House on the way up Rohtang Road. Being situated in this part of Manali means we are surrounded by the mountains every single day, which is just the way we like it in the 175131 area. It is a bit of a drive to get up here from the main market, but the quiet is good for the kind of work we do. The base camp is where all the actual activity happens. We do not have a fancy glass office or a reception desk. It is a very practical setup meant for people who are used to being outdoors and dealing with the elements. Life in Village Kothi is quite different from being in a city. We have to deal with the mountain weather and the road conditions all the time. Sometimes the heavy snow makes things a bit difficult, but we just get on with it. It is a local operation run by people who actually live here in the hills. You will not hear any corporate talk when you visit us. We just know these trails and the area very well. If you head towards Rohtang, look for the rest house and we are right nearby. This has been our home for a long time. We just keep the gear ready and stay busy.
