Look East Travels

Our office, Look East Travels, is located right at Manikaran Chowk in Bhuntar. If you know the Shamshi area in Kullu, you probably have passed by us before. It is a busy spot because of the crossing. We have been running things from here for a while. Being near the airport means there is always something going on. We mostly deal with people headed towards Manikaran or just arriving in the valley. It’s a small team here. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to people who walk in from the street. The 175126 area code is where we belong. We don't do any big advertising. Mostly it is just people seeing the shop at the chowk. We know the local routes well because we use them ourselves every day. Sometimes the traffic at the junction gets a bit much, but that’s Bhuntar for you. We just try to get the cars sorted and make sure the drivers know where they are going. It’s not a complicated business. We open up in the morning and stay until the work is done. If someone needs a ride or a plan for the day, we see what we can do. It's a practical way to earn a living in the mountains. We like being in Shamshi. It feels like the center of things around here for travelers and locals alike who are just passing through the valley for work or fun.
