You can find us right near the District Court in Dhalpur. It’s a busy little area, especially when the courts are in session and people are everywhere. We are at Sh Chatter Singh’s place. Himalayankraft And Loom is just what we call ourselves. Being in Kullu, we are surrounded by all this mountain scenery, but Dhalpur feels a bit more connected to the town life. The office is pretty basic. We have some looms and stuff set up in the back. It’s not a factory, more like a workshop where we spend our hours. The air is good here, though it gets a bit dusty near the road when the wind picks up. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising or anything like that. People just sort of find us because we’ve been here a while. Sh Chatter Singh has been kind enough to let us use this space for our work. It's got high ceilings and enough light for us to see what we are doing. We just focus on the craft. Sometimes it gets loud with the traffic outside, but once you step inside, it’s mostly just the sound of work. We aren't a big company with fancy titles or suits. We’re just local folks who like the work we do with the looms. Every morning we open up, sweep the floor, and get started. It’s a simple life in Dhalpur.
