Himalayan Fab Producer Company Limited

Himalayan Fab is based in Village Tharman, which is near Neoli. We operate out of Gulshan Kumar’s place. It’s a producer company, so it’s really about the people here in the village working together on our fabrics. We spend a lot of time coordinating with local folks who know how to make things. It’s not always easy keeping everything organized when you’re out in a village like ours. Sometimes the power goes out or the phone signal is weak, but we make do. We focus on the things we can make right here without needing fancy machines from the city. Most of our days are spent checking on the progress of different batches and making sure the quality is what it should be. We aren’t trying to be some giant global brand. We just want to make sure our village has a way to get its products out there. You might see us walking around Neoli talking to people about the next lot of fabrics we're planning. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We don't sit in an air-conditioned office all day. We’re usually in the middle of whatever is happening. If you ever find yourself near Village Tharman, you’ll see we are just a group of locals trying to build something that lasts. It takes a lot of patience, but we’re used to that living in the mountains. We enjoy being here.
