Himachal Routes Tour & Travels

We are located on Kompa Road, right near the Tibetan Monastery. If you are in Manali, you probably know where that is. It’s a peaceful part of town, even with all the visitors. Himachal Routes Tour & Travels is our small setup. Days are spent here talking to people about the different roads and paths through the mountains. Being near the monastery gives the area a nice feel. We can hear the bells sometimes. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a room with some chairs and a computer. We’ve been doing this for some time now. Routes are something we know because we travel them ourselves. The 175131 area is where we live and work. Trying to be something we aren't isn't our style. We’re just a local travel office trying to make a living. People come in after seeing the monastery and ask us about going to Spiti or Leh. Honest details about what the roads are like are what we give them. It’s not always easy travel around here. Weather can be tricky. We just try to be helpful and keep things simple. There’s no big corporate vibe here. Just us and the people who walk through the door. We like the location on Kompa Road. It’s got a good character to it. Keeping the lights on and helping whoever shows up looking for a way through the hills is what we do. It keeps us busy enough.
