City Point Travels

If you spend any time on The Mall Road in Manali, you know it is the busiest place in the whole district. City Point Travels is right there in the center of all that activity. We see the big buses rolling in from Delhi early in the morning and the crowds walking around with ice cream in the evenings. Our office is a small, busy space where we keep track of our drivers and the daily bookings. It gets quite loud with the honking and the shouting of the porters, but that is just how life is on the main road. We start our work before the sun is even over the ridges, making sure everyone knows where they are supposed to be. Kullu is a big area and we have to stay on top of things to keep it all moving. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning; we just open the windows and let the mountain air in. People walk in all day asking about the weather or where they can find a good meal. We use the 175131 code for our mail, but mostly we just talk to people face-to-face. It is a fast-paced environment and we’ve been doing this for a long time. You get to meet all kinds of people just by standing at our front door for an hour.
