Choti Kashi Travels

Our place is at House No. 57, on the top floor. We are right near the Picadly Hotel on the way up towards the Hadimba Temple area. It’s a bit of a climb but the view is alright. Choti Kashi Travels is what we call ourselves. We’ve been in this part of Manali for a good while. The temple is famous so there are always people around. Being on the top floor means we are a little away from the noise of the street. It’s a simple office. There aren't a lot of staff. Just a couple of us handling the phones and the walk-ins. Helping people figure out their travel plans around Himachal is the main work. The pin code is 175131. Area knowledge is something we have. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but that’s just life in the mountains. We don't try to sound like a big travel agency. We are just local folks. Telling people where the good spots are and how to get there without too much trouble is what we do. It’s a practical business. No fancy marketing is used. We just talk to people like they are neighbors. If you’re heading to the temple, you might pass by our building. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down. Working in the hills and meeting people from all over who want to see the scenery makes for a decent life. It is honest work.
