Brick Sales And Services Pvt. Ltd. is located in Bhuntar, right on National Highway 21. We are in the Kullu district, and the Bhuntar Airport is quite close by. You can hear the planes taking off and landing pretty clearly from our yard. We have stacks and stacks of bricks everywhere you look. It’s an outdoor kind of business for the most part, so we are always dealing with the weather. When it rains, the yard gets muddy, and when it’s sunny, it gets very dusty. Highway 21 is a main road, so there is a constant stream of traffic passing by our gate. We spend most of the day loading trucks and talking to contractors who need materials for their projects. The office is just a small shack at the front where we keep the receipts and a jug of water. It’s cold up here in the winters, and we sometimes have to clear snow just to get the trucks in. We aren't doing anything complicated, just selling bricks and making sure they get delivered. People stop by because they see the stacks from the road. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We’ve been part of the Bhuntar community for a long time, and we’ve seen the area change a lot with the highway getting busier. It’s just us, the bricks, and the sound of the airport nearby, day in and day out. We try to stay organized but with so many loads moving, it is always a bit hectic.
