Extreme Himalayan Trails

We run Extreme Himalayan Trails out of the Crystal Mountain Home Stay in Jibhi. Jibhi is a pretty small village, so we are easy enough to find once you get here. We aren't in a corporate building; we are right there in the home stay. It makes things easy because we can talk to people over breakfast. We focus on the trails around the Tirthan Valley and beyond. Most of us have spent our whole lives walking these paths. We don't have a fancy marketing plan or a sales team. We just know the mountains. Our days involve a lot of checking weather reports and making sure the tents don't have holes in them. Sometimes the equipment gets worn out and we have to spend the afternoon sewing things back together. It isn't glamorous work. We get tired and we get cold, but it’s what we know. We don't like to overcomplicate things. If someone wants to go on a trek, we show them the map and tell them what to pack. We are honest about the climbs. If a trail is too muddy, we say so. We would rather people have a realistic idea of what they are getting into. We're just local people sharing the places we love, without any of that polished tourist talk you see in the cities. We just like the fresh air and the quiet trails.
