Being on the Mall Road in Manali means there is always something happening outside our windows. We are located in the Himalayan Shopping Arcade, which most people know if they spend any time in this part of town. Our office sits right across from the Municipal Council. It’s a convenient spot, though parking can be a real headache during the tourist season. We’ve spent many winters here watching the snow pile up outside. The office itself is cozy enough. We have our desks and some old filing cabinets that have been with us since we started. It’s not a large space, but it works for what we need to do. Usually, it’s just us and the sound of the traffic on the road. We get a mix of people coming through the door, some locals and some who are just passing through for business. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with fancy signs or anything. Just the name on the door. Sometimes the internet is slow when the weather gets bad, but that’s just life in the mountains. We try to stay on top of our tasks and keep things moving. It’s a quiet life inside the office even when the Mall Road is packed with people outside. We like it here and don't plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon. It feels right being in the middle of everything and watching the world go by.
