You can find us on Gurudwara Road in Manali. It's a pretty well-known street. Adventure Tours & Travel has been operating from here for a while. It’s a busy road with a lot of people walking by. Every day we see the tourists and the locals going about their business. Our shop is simple. Flashy signs aren't something we use. We just have our name and we do our work. Arranging transport and helping people find things to do around here is our main job. The mountains are right there, so there's always something happening. Sometimes the traffic on Gurudwara Road gets a bit much, especially during the holidays. Sitting in the office and taking care of the bookings is what we do. It’s a 175131 area code. Being centrally located makes it easy for people to stop in and ask questions. We don't promise anything that can't be done. We just tell people the truth about the weather and the roads. Sometimes the passes are closed and we have to tell people they can't go where they wanted. That's just how it is in the Himalayas. Having lived here a long time, we’ve seen all the changes in Manali over the years. It’s gotten busier, but the spirit is still the same. We just keep doing what we know how to do, which is helping people get around this part of the world. It is a practical life in the hills.
