Ammaiyappa Hospital

This hospital is tucked away at 33/1 in West Gowripuram. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main city areas. We have been operating out of this building for a good while. People from the surrounding streets usually come to us when they are feeling under the weather or if something more serious comes up. We have got various rooms and beds set up for patients who need to stay over. The staff works in shifts, so there is always someone around even late at night. It is a practical kind of place. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. Just the usual hospital equipment and chairs for visitors. Sometimes the hallway gets a bit crowded when it is visiting hours. We see a lot of the same faces because we are right in the heart of the residential area. It is basically a local setup for the people living in West Gowripuram. We spend our days checking temperatures, giving out medicines, and talking to families about their relatives. It is a lot of routine work, but it keeps the place running. The building itself is older but we keep it functional. It is not a massive institution, just a local hospital doing what it can for the neighborhood. We focus on getting through the daily list of patients and making sure the supplies are stocked up in the pharmacy area.
