Pahalgam Hotel

We are located right in the heart of Pahalgam, Kashmir. This area is known for being quite cold in the winter and very green in the summer, so the hotel changes its feel depending on the season. The building itself has been here for a long time. It’s a traditional style with a lot of wood and stone because that’s what works best with the weather up here. We have rooms for travelers who come to see the mountains and the river. It’s a quiet place for the most part, though during peak tourist season, the whole town gets a bit more crowded. We don’t have the same high-speed feel as a city hotel. Things move slower in the mountains. Our staff usually comes from the surrounding villages, so they know the area well. We provide a place to sleep and meals for our guests. The heaters are important during the snowy months, and we spend a lot of time making sure they are working. There isn't much around us except for the natural scenery and other small guesthouses. People come here to get away from the noise, so we try to keep the atmosphere calm. It’s a family-run kind of place in spirit, even if it’s grown over the years. We just keep the doors open and the rooms ready for whoever arrives.
