KULGAM ARTISANS FEDERATION

Kulgam Artisans Federation is located at number 42 in Yaripora, specifically in the Pandithpora area. It is a place where local artisans come together. We don't have a big, fancy building with a lobby. It’s a very functional space where we store things and meet up to talk about the work. Being in Yaripora, we are right in the middle of where a lot of the making happens. Most of us have been doing this kind of work for years, so we don't need to explain much to each other. We just get on with it. The office can get a bit crowded when everyone shows up at once, and there’s usually a lot of talking and tea drinking going on. We don't have any polished speeches or mission statements posted on the walls. We just want to make sure the artisans are getting their work out there. The 42 Yaripora address is where we keep the records and handle the paperwork. It’s a bit old-fashioned, and we still use a lot of paper notebooks instead of everything being on a computer. It works for us though. Sometimes we disagree on how to do things, but we always figure it out. It’s a real community effort, and we aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We are just a group of people from Pandithpora trying to keep the local work alive and moving forward for the future of our local community.
