Royal Garments

Royal Garments is located in Ward No- 2 over in Kukshi. We are pretty close to the Laxmi Mata Mandir, so we hear the temple bells quite often throughout the day. It is a nice sound to work to, honestly. Our shop is full of different clothes and fabrics, and sometimes it feels like we are drowning in piles of shirts and trousers, but we know where everything is. Mostly. The district can get pretty hot, so we try to keep the shop as cool as possible for whoever walks in. People come in from all over the area, some just to browse and others who know exactly what they want. We do not have a big corporate team or any marketing department. It is just us handling the customers and making sure the shelves aren't empty. Kukshi is a small enough place that you start recognizing the families that come in. We have been here for a bit and we have seen the street change quite a bit over the years. Some days are really slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by the temple, and other days it feels like we cannot move fast enough to keep up. We try to keep things simple. There is no fancy lighting or display cases, just racks of clothes and us. It is a lot of work to keep a garment shop going, but it is what we do. We are usually here until late evening.
