Central Steel

If you are looking for us, we are over at Nariman Point in Kukshi, right on the Barwani Road. We are very close to the petrol pump, which is the easiest landmark to give people. Central Steel is a local business, and we’ve been part of this community for quite a while now. The yard is usually full of different types of steel, and there’s always a bit of a scramble when a big delivery comes in. It’s not a quiet place. There is the sound of trucks and the clinking of metal all day. We have a small office where we sit to handle the bills and talk to whoever walks in. We don't have any polished sales pitches or brochures. We just tell you what we have in stock and how much it costs. Sometimes we run out of certain sizes, and we have to wait for the next truck, but that’s just the nature of the business. The road outside gets busy, especially with people stopping at the pump, so there is always someone around. We like being in Kukshi. It’s a straightforward place and people here appreciate a direct answer. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to keep our yard running and make sure the local builders have what they need. It is a lot of heavy lifting, but we are used to it by now. It keeps us fit.
