Sahayogh Human Skill Development & Social Welfare Society

We set things up over in Dattatreya Colony, right in the Yellamma Banda area of Kukatpally. The house number is 2-1-D88/E, and it's a bit tucked away, so you really have to know the turns to find us. This society was started because we saw a lot of people who needed a hand with learning new skills. It is not some big corporate training center. It is more like a community space where folks come to learn things that might help them get a better job or just do more for their families. We have some tables and chairs, a few old computers, and plenty of notebooks lying around. The rooms can get a bit stuffy in the summer, but we keep the fans going. Kukatpally is a busy place, but our little corner is relatively quiet most of the time. We spend our mornings planning out what needs to be done and our afternoons usually involve talking to people from the neighborhood. It is a lot of paperwork and talking, really. We are just a group of people who live nearby and wanted to use our time for something useful. There is no big budget or anything, just us putting in the hours. We see a lot of different faces every day, and that is what keeps the place feeling alive. It is just basic social work and teaching, nothing more.
