Pranathi Electrical & A/c Works

Pranathi Electrical & A/c Works is based in HMT Hills, Kukatpally. You can find us at Shop No. 1, which is part of Plot No. 473. The shop is always full of wires, copper pipes, and various tools. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where every screwdriver and tester is kept. We spend a lot of time working on air conditioners, especially when the heat in Kukatpally gets unbearable. Most days, we aren't even in the shop because we are out at a customer's place fixing a fridge or an AC unit. Our clothes usually have a bit of grease or dust on them by midday, but that’s just part of the job. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. People just call us or walk into the shop when their appliances break down. HMT Hills is a nice area, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the residents over the years. We have a small workbench in the back where we take apart motors to see what’s wrong with them. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a specific part to arrive, and we just have to explain that to the customer. It’s a hands-on life. We aren't polished businessmen; we are just guys who know how to work with our hands and fix things that are broken so people can stay cool.
