We have been here in Jose for a good while now. It is a quiet enough spot in Kottayam, mostly green trees and the usual Kerala rain that comes and goes. Coffee Day Hotels & Resorts Pvt.Ltd isn't some massive skyscraper, just a place where we get things done every day. People come by and we try to make sure they have a place to sit or stay without too much fuss. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power flickers, but that is just how things are around here. We handle the rooms and the grounds, keeping the grass trimmed when the sun is out. It gets humid in the afternoons, so everyone slows down a bit around three o'clock. Most of the staff live nearby, so we walk or take a scooter to get to work. We don't have a big fancy lobby with gold statues or anything like that. It is just a building with some rooms and a lot of history in the walls. We see a lot of travelers passing through Kerala, looking for a bit of rest before they head back out to the main roads.
