Lindex India Liaison Office

You can find us at Plot No. 19 in the Industrial Area, Phase 3, over in Okhla. This is a liaison office, so a lot of what we do involves being the middleman for different parts of the business. We spend most of our time on the phone or staring at samples that come in from different factories. The office isn't anything special to look at. We’ve got some desks, a few chairs for visitors, and shelves filled with clothing samples and fabric swatches. Okhla Phase 3 is a busy spot, and there’s always someone coming or going. We deal with a lot of different people throughout the day. It’s our job to make sure everyone is on the same page, which can be a bit of a juggle sometimes. We don’t manufacture anything right here on-site; it’s more about the communication and making sure the quality is what it needs to be before anything gets shipped out. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief during the summer months when the industrial area gets really hot. We drink a lot of coffee while we go through the reports and emails. It’s a lot of coordination work. Sometimes we have to head out to visit the production sites, but mostly we’re here at Plot 19. It’s a functional space that works for us. We don't have any big mission statements. We just try to keep the process moving without too many hitches.
