Hector Beverages

Hector Beverages is located way out at 594/754 in the Kadakola Industrial Area. If you have ever been around there, you know it is all about trucks and big warehouses. We are just one part of that noise. The warehouse is huge and sometimes feels a bit empty when we are between shipments, but other times you can barely walk through the aisles. The metal roof makes it really loud when it rains, almost like you can’t hear yourself talk. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or plush carpets. It’s just concrete floors and heavy lifting for the most part. Most of us wear boots because of the spills and the general grime that comes with an industrial spot. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the crates are stacked right so they don't tip over. It’s hard work and your back definitely feels it by the end of the shift. We usually have a tea break around four in the afternoon when everyone slows down for a bit. There’s a small dhaba down the road where we get snacks sometimes. We don’t spend much time thinking about being a big company, we are just trying to get the pallets loaded on time. The machinery is old but it still works if you know how to kick it. It's just a regular day-to-day grind here in Kadakola. The dust never really settles on anything.
