Ranbow Shop

The Ranbow Shop is a small spot right in Chapla. It is one of those places that people just stumble upon or know because they live right nearby. There isn’t much space inside so things are packed onto the shelves from the floor to the ceiling. We have a bit of everything and it’s a bit disorganized if we are being honest. The front door stays open most of the day to let in some air and the sounds of the street in Chapla. We spend a lot of time just talking to the people who walk in for a few things. It’s not a high-speed business. Sometimes the cat from next door comes in and sits on the counter. We have some old wooden stools for when friends stop by to chat. The light inside is a bit dim because the shop is deep and the windows are small. We keep a ledger on the desk to write things down because the computer is old and slow. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. You can hear the bikes and the local chatter outside all the time. We’ve been in this same spot for a while and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. It’s just a simple local shop doing what it does every day in the middle of Chapla. Most days we close up just as it gets dark and walk home.
