Vijay Hospital

We have been here at 76-R Old Bangalore Road for quite a long time now. Most people in the neighborhood know where the building is because it’s a bit of a landmark for those driving down this way. It’s usually pretty noisy outside with all the traffic, but inside we try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can. It’s a hospital, so things are never really quiet or predictable. We have nurses who have been working here for years and they know the regulars by name. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded and the chairs aren't the newest, but we do what we can with the space we have. There’s always someone coming in for something, whether it’s a check-up or something more serious that needs attention right away. We don’t have fancy paintings on the walls or a big lobby with coffee machines. It’s just a place where people come when they aren't feeling well. The paperwork can be a bit much sometimes, and the computers are a little slow on rainy days, but that’s just how it goes. We stay open late most nights because that’s when people seem to need us the most after they finish their work. It’s hard work and the shifts are long, but we’re used to it by now. Just a normal local hospital trying to help out the folks around here without making a big fuss about it.
