Vaijayanthi Hospital

Vaijayanthi Hospital is right here on Morapoor Road in Karimangalam. If you are from around the Dharmapuri district, you probably know where the post office is. We are pretty close by. Most days it is quite busy around here with people coming and going constantly. The staff usually gets in early to start setting things up before the first few folks show up at the door. It is not a very fancy place, really, just a regular building where we try to help out anyone who walks in needing a checkup or some medicine. Sometimes the ceiling fans make a bit of noise, but they keep the waiting area cool enough when the afternoon sun hits those front windows. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood, which is nice because you get to know people after a while. One of the nurses has been working here for years and knows almost everyone by name. It is just the way things go here in Karimangalam. The road outside can get a bit loud with the trucks passing through to the main town, but inside we just focus on the work at hand. We don’t have much in the way of big signs or anything fancy. People just find us because we have been on this road for a good while now. If you are looking for us, look for the Morapoor Road signs near the PO. We keep the doors open and try to stay organized, even when it gets a little chaotic.
