Raghavandra Store

Our shop, Raghavandra Store, is right there at 5/41 on Bazaar Street. If you know Thally Main Road, you know how busy it gets around here. We’ve been sitting on this corner for a long time now, just watching the traffic go by every single day. It’s a small place, really. The shelves are packed pretty tight with all sorts of things, from soap to snacks and everything in between. Most mornings start early for us, around six or so, when we have to sweep out the dust that blows in from the main road. It’s a lot of work keeping things tidy when there’s so much movement outside. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just rows of items that people actually use. Sometimes the fans don’t work as well as they should when it’s really hot out, so we just keep the door wide open to catch a breeze. People stop in while they’re on their way somewhere else, usually in a hurry. We know a lot of the faces from the neighborhood, though names are harder to remember sometimes. It’s a simple life running a store on Bazaar Street. We spend most of the day restacking things that get moved around or checking what we need to order for next week. It’s nothing special to look at, just a regular shop where you can get what you need without any fuss.
