Nantha Wallmart

Nantha Wallmart is a small local spot at No.22/21 on Pillaiyar Kovil Street. We are located in the Mill Krishnapuram area of Ambur. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, though it picks up when people are headed to the temple. We’ve been here for several years now, just doing what we do. The shop is a simple room filled with whatever we are trading at the time. We don't have fancy shelves or bright lights. It’s just a place to do business. We know most of the people who live on this street and in the surrounding blocks. That’s the nice thing about being in Ambur; word travels by mouth. We didn’t choose this name to sound like a giant corporation, it just stuck with us over time. Most of our work involves moving goods and keeping track of who needs what. We spend a lot of time on our feet. The building itself is old, like many others around here, but it serves its purpose for our needs. We open up early and usually stay until the sun goes down. There isn’t much of a story beyond that. We are just people working a job and trying to do it right for the local folks. If you’re walking down Pillaiyar Kovil Street, you’ll see our sign and the old door. It’s a humble place, and that is exactly how we like to keep it every single day.
