We are located at Plot No. E-5 in the Sipcot Industrial Complex, Phase II extension. It’s a large plot because stone takes up a lot of room. International Stones India Pvt. Ltd. isn't a fancy name for a fancy place. It’s mostly outdoor storage and a small office building. There is dust everywhere because of the cutting and moving of the slabs. We spend our days coordinating trucks and checking the quality of the stone coming in. It’s heavy work. We wear boots and old clothes because things get messy fast. The sun can be brutal out here in the complex, but we have some shade near the office. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just show people the inventory when they visit the plot. Some days are quiet, just the sound of the crane, and other days it’s chaos with five trucks trying to load at once. We don't have any polished speeches. We just tell you what stone we have and how much it costs. It’s a very practical business. We’ve been at this address for years and people know the plot. We just keep our heads down and manage the stock. It’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the inventory changes fast, and other times we sit on the same slabs for weeks. We don't mind either way as long as the work keeps coming.
