Green Foods

Down in Matarapalli Village in the Bargur Taluk area, that’s where you’ll find Green Foods. We’re pretty much out in the countryside, which makes sense for what we do every day. We work with food products, mostly stuff that comes straight from the local farms around here. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except when we’re in the middle of processing a big batch of something and the machines are running. We don't have a big fancy factory with robots. It’s more of a local operation where people from the village come to work. We’ve been here for a while, and we know the land around this part of Bargur quite well. The way we work is pretty simple and honest. We take what’s grown nearby and get it ready for people to eat. There’s a lot of washing, sorting, and packing involved in the process. It’s honest work, and it feels good to be part of the food chain in a direct way. We don’t do much advertising at all. Most people know us because they live nearby or they’ve seen our trucks on the local roads moving products. The village life suits us just fine. It’s a lot of work, especially during the harvest times when everything comes in at once, but we just take it one day at a time. We’re not looking to become a giant corporation. We just want to provide decent food and keep the business running well.
